After 15 years, the Stevenson Showcase has moved. The event, which is known as the premier exhibition for Chicago-area high school baseball talent each June. will be held at St. Charles North this Friday and Saturday.
Downers Grove North transfer and current Benet player Rowan McGuire spent a lot of time on the bench this spring. It wasn’t because she wasn’t a good player; it was because she was ruled ineligible to play after transferring from a public to private school in the fall.

Curie's Stella McMillan is a double bilateral amputee, but that hasn’t stopped her from a busy athletic career in basketball, track, softball and floor hockey. She recently won three state track titles in the IHSA's first events for athletes with disabilities.

The Chicago Public has realigned the boys basketball conferences for the 2013-14 season. There is a new White conference and the signature Red conference has been trimmed from ten teams to six.

The IHSA on Wednesday released its new Football Acclimatization Policy, which will govern how often and how long teams can work out at the start of the preseason, along with what equipment they can wear. The concept is to protect the players, but it doesn't come without some contradictions.
