Jordan Ellingwood, of Plainfield Central, is this week’s Herald-News Football Player of the Week.
Ellingwood, a senior running back, scored four touchdowns — three in the second half — and ran for 144 yards on 18 carries to lead the Wildcats to a stunning 42-0 victory over Romeoville. Ellingwood scored on runs of 4, 6, 2 and 9 yards. By halftime, Ellingwood already had 113 yards on 12 carries.
