Shepard's Jimmu McClinton, a 6-foot, 170-pound senior quarterback, ranks among the area leaders in touchdown passes with 13. The Robbins resident also stars on the basketball court and in track and field at the Palos Heights school.

What’s the most difficult part of being a three-sport athlete?

You don’t have very much time for yourself.

What’s the biggest benefit to playing three sports?

It keeps you out of trouble. You have no time to do anything else.

State title game. You’re in it. What team would you most like to beat for the championship? Why?

Richards. They call it a rivalry, but we haven’t beat them in so many years that it’s really not a rivalry. I want to beat them to shut them up.

You’re on a deserted island. You could have an endless supply of one food. What would it be?

Pepperoni pizza from Barracos.

If you could have your pick, what celebrity would you choose as your prom date?

Beyonce.

Ten years from now, when you’re talking about coach Dominic Passolano, what’s the first thought that will come mind?

Discipline.

If you could trade places with anyone in the world, who would it be?

Michael Jordan. He’s got it made right now.

Given the chance, what person, dead or alive, would you most like to meet? Why?

Brian Dawkins (retired NFL safety). He’s someone I’ve looked up to and have followed.

If you could be a pro athlete in any sport other than football, what sport would it be and why?

Basketball. I’ve been playing it for so long and it’s a lot of fun.
