Rich East running back Nick Horne had 74 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns — four and 19 yards — and a big hit defensively on quarterback Kendall McGinnis that forced an interception.

The breakdown

The Rockets (6-2, 4-0 Southland) rallied from a 14-0 deficit to set up next week’s conference championship game with Crete-Monee, also 4-0 in conference. The Blazing Trojans (5-3, 2-2) scored in the first quarter on an eight-yard run from Zerrel Jackson and in the second quarter on a six-yard run by Justus Brantley (20 carries, 101 yards). Josiah Daley added an interception for the Trojans. Kevin Givhan had an interception for the Rockets, who shoot for their first conference title since coach Barry Reade’s second season in 2007.
