So is this the end of football for you — forever?
I’m not planning on playing in college. I’m leaning on going to Purdue or Illinois and go to their business school.

How were you able to look back on this season and handle the loss?
It’s good to look back and we got to experience the semifinals for two years in a row. I look back more at what we did and all the hard work that paid off.

This was one of the bigger losses of the year, but I still went out to dinner with some friends. And in the locker room, we thanked each other with what we’ve been through.

What are you going to do with all this free time now that football is over?
I’m playing the guitar and some of my friends and I are in a band. That’s what I’m going to focus on now. And I’m still going to go and work out doing weights at The CORE in Lemont and play some basketball there.

Does the band have a name yet?
We kind of have one, but it’s not set in stone yet. We’re going to be more of a local band since some of us are going to different colleges.

How long have you been interested in music?
I started playing the guitar last Christmas, but I have been playing drums since eighth grade. I always loved music, and I told my mother to force me to get a guitar last year.
