Check out the Central Suburban North outlook, predicted order of finish, top five players and more here.

CENTRAL SUBURBAN NORTH

Outlook: Once again, this conference is up a jump ball between Glenbrook North and Niles North. The Spartans edged out the Vikings by one game a year ago, even though 6-foot-8 forward Andrew McAuliffe, a Davidson recruit, missed a lot of time with an injury.

Top five players: Lorenzo Dillard, Niles North, G, Sr.; Alexander Glantz, Deerfield, G, Jr.; Kurt Karis, Glenbrook North, G, Sr.; Andrew McAuliffe, Glenbrook North, F, Sr.; Malachi Nix, Niles North, G, Sr.

Did you know? The Vikings are looking for an unprecedented third trip to the sectional finals this season. Niles North won the program’s first sectional title in 2011 and got back to the sectional final last season, losing to Evanston.

Quote: “Mali has been winning games for us for four years.” — Niles North coach Glenn Olson, talking about senior guard Malachi Nix

Predicted finish: Glenbrook North, Niles North, Maine West, Deerfield, Highland Park, Maine East.
