The Crusaders raced to a 14-3 first-quarter lead and never looked back. Ray Rubino had two of his three three-pointers in the first quarter. Eddie Miles had 14 points and Shaquon Alexander added 13 to lead the Spartans. Hales starters Devin Denson and E’mon Frison were not in uniform.
