De La Salle downs Batavia

De La Salle led 27-21 at the break and 47-31 after three en route to a 59-47 win over Batavia Saturday.
DeLaSalle 59, Batavia 47 – Micah Coffey hit a pair of three-pointers in the opening quarter as the host Bulldogs took a 13-12 lead. The Meteors (14-6) came back strong with a 15-8 advantage in the second to lead 27-21 at the break and 47-31 after three.
Sophomore post player Brandon Hutton led DeLaSalle with 16 points while senior guard Marcus White added 11 and senior forward Alvin Ellis 10.
Coffey finished with 11 to lead the Bulldogs and Zach Strittmatter dropped in 10.
