Tough to handle the 39-22 loss to Peoria Richwood in the sectional?
The game was really exciting, but it was tough. We came out and tried as hard as we could. We could have done better, and we really wanted the win.
Why University of St. Francis?
When I visited, I felt like this was the right place for me. It’s not far so if I’m missing my family I can just get in the car and go see them.
Favorite basketball moment?
I hit the game-winner, a shot in the lane, against Plainfield North this season with a couple seconds left in the game.
Ideal state final opponent?
Edwardsville. It would take a lot to beat them, but it would be really cool to beat them.
How would you improve your game?
I’d improve my outside shot and my dribbling.
Who is your celebrity prom date?
I see a lot of other people pick him too, but I’ll say Channing Tatum.
What’s your favorite movie?
“Love and Basketball.” I don’t know why I like it, but I love basketball, and I love romantic movies.
You’re on a deserted island and can never run out of one food. What do you pick?
You can have an opponent as a teammate. Who do you pick?
I’ve played on club with her, Plainfield East’s Gina Matthews.
Remember most about Minooka?
I’ve been playing with Sydney Lilly since the sixth grade so I’m going to miss playing with her a lot.
