With his team trailing by eight at halftime, Ausar Madison took it upon himself to lead a Young comeback in its Class 4A Argo Sectional semifinal against Curie. Madison had five assists in a 16-4 third-quarter run that led Young to a 62-58 win.
In the past 20 years only three teams with a freshman or sophomore leading scorer have made it the big school Final Four. This year one remaining team fits that bill: Stevenson with sophomore sensation Jalen Brunson.
