Dave Lindley, a longtime Glenview resident, who was a volunteer assistant coach under Bob Rosinski the past three seasons at Glenbrook South has successfully taken over as the Titans' head coach this season.
Foreman’s Carl White’s free throws with just second remaining gave the visitors a 49-46 win over Glenbrook South in a regional semifinal hosted by the Titans. The Hornets next face Notre Dame on Friday.

Glenbrook South has named Dave Lindley head baseball coach. Lindley, who replaces Bob Rosinski, won a state championship in 1982 at Hinsdale South and was inducted into the Illinois Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame in 1996.

Two-time defending boys swimming state champion New Trier (439 points), won all 12 events, easily outdistancing Glenbrook South (277) to claim the CSL South conference title Saturday.
With a 3-2 win over the Leyden Eagles on Sunday, Glenbrook raised its second-half record to 3-4-1 and has recorded victories in three of its last four games.

Freshman Andrew Mehrholz led Deerfield to the Central Suburban League wrestling title on Saturday. With four winners and four runners-up, the Warriors easily won the team title with 271 points.
Senior guard Quintin Davis scored a game-high 22 points, and senior forward Devonte Taylor added 19 as Waukegan raced past Glenbrook South 62-47 Friday in a Central Suburban South.
Niles West’s Ahmad Gibson scored eight of his team-best 14 points in the fourth quarter as the Wolves downed Glenbrook South 54-44 to pick up their first win in the CSL South and snap the Titan’s three-game win streak.
