The Chicago Public Schools teachers strike ended Tuesday, and players will begin to practice Wednesday in preparation for games this weekend. But it is unclear whether or not Week 4 games will be made up.

If the CPS teachers strike continues to Friday, the charter schools who are members of the Public League and are scheduled to play CPS schools will be able to pick up games against each other on Saturday.

The Illinois High School Association's board of directors on Monday turned down a CPS request to waive a by-law prohibiting teams from playing interscholastic contests during a strike. But practices could potentially continue.
