In a game of rapidly changing tactics and chances that never quite came to fruition, visiting St. Charles North dominated shots on goal and possession though could not solve York's defense and the teams played to 0-0 draw Tuesday night in Elmhurst.
York scored all its goals on stopped play as senior defender Angela Guerino converted two free kicks resulting in goals as the visiting Dukes blanked St. Ignatius 3-0 in a nonconference matchup Saturday in Chicago.

Oak Park-River Forest held York to one field goal in the fourth quarter, as it rallied for a 43-39 win over the Dukes in a Class 4A Schaumburg Sectional semifinal. Erick Locke scored all 15 of his points in the second half.
David Cohn had 14 points and Frank Toohey added 12 as York overcame an 12-point first quarter deficit to earn a 65-50 victory over Morton on Wednesday.
Alex Gustafson scored 12 points, including key baskets in the fourth quarter to help lead Oak Park-River Forest to a 47-41 win over York Friday in Elmhurst.

Brian Owens led the way with 17 points, and Hinsdale Central clinched its first West Suburban Silver title since 2000 with a 54-39 victory upset Tuesday of No. 21 York.
Jack Tosh, the highly-regarded coach and athletic director who started the boys holiday basketball tournament at York that bears his name, passed away early Monday morning.
York held Glenbard West’s Keith Hayes scoreless in the third while the Dukes went on a 17-4 run and never looked back in a tightly contested 58-50 win over the Hilltoppers in West Suburban-Silver action.
Since shining at the Proviso West Holiday Tournament last month, there hasn’t been any uncommitted senior whose stock has skyrocketed more this season than Oswego’s Miles Simelton.
