  • Aurora Central's Matt Miller, the Suburban Christian Gold Player of the Year, finished 6-1 with an 0.90 ERA and 80 strikeouts while hitting .400 in the three hole and playing shortstop on days he wasn't on the mound. It all led to Miller being named the Beacon News Baseball Player of the Year.
