Senior-stacked St. Charles North takes home West Aurora crown

St. Charles North dropped the first set of the West Aurora Tournament finals against Schaumburg, 25-27, but came back to post 25-18 and 25-11 wins to take home the tournament crown and improve to 5-0.

  • Providence scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to break a scoreless tie and held on for a 5-3 victory over Plainfield Central. In the second game, Minooka scored twice in the bottom of the sixth en route to a 3-1 victory over Joliet Catholic.
