Andrew freshman Kayla Plastiak blasted a two-run home run homer to give the Thunderbolts a little breathing room en route to their 7-3 victory over Neuqua Valley in Friday's Providence Softball Tournament quarterfinal.
After surviving a one-run first inning, Andrew pitcher Hannah Theilmann went on to shut down Lincoln-Way Central 6-1 behind a strong Thunderbolt defensive performance on Thursday afternoon.
