After fielding a number of scholarship offers since his freshman year, St. Joseph junior Paul Turner hopes to come to a decision with where he will continue his career by the end of summer.
Orr won the school’s first-ever sectional title Friday night by defeating St. Joseph 50-40 in the title game of the Nazareth Sectional. The Spartans frontcourt tandem of Tyquone Greer (16 points) and Marlon Jones (14 points) led the way for Orr.
A.J. Patty went for a game-high 16 points as St. Joseph came away with a 47-37 win over St. Ignatius at the Class 3A Nazareth Sectional semifinal at Riverside-Brookfield Thursday night.
St. Joe’s led by just three points early in the second quarter but a combined 50 points in the second and third quarters were more than enough to propel the Chargers to a 90-40 win over UIC Prep.
