Romeoville guard Angelica Osusky signed with University of St. Francis and coach Samantha Quigley on Thursday. She joins Joliet Catholic forward Mary Susan Rouse and Minooka forward Marissa McLemen, who also have committed to the Saints.
Amarah Coleman scored 14 points, and No. 4 Bolingbrook opened a big early lead against No. 7 Romeoville en route to a 59-28 victory Tuesday in a Class 4A Oswego Sectional semifinal.
Romeoville won its first regional title since 1989 55-52 over Plainfield East Friday night. They won behind stellar performances from Kiera Currie and Brianna Harris, who combined for the winning free throws.
With Romeoville struggling from the floor Wednesday, Abby Smith picked a perfect time to get on a hot streak, finishing with 12 points in Romeoville’s 52-35 win over host Lemont in a 4A regional semifinal.
