Loyola lost the two-goal lead it held in the fourth quarter of Saturday's matchup with New Trier only to have Evan Swenson knock in the game-winner with 6.8 seconds remaining in the Rambler's 5-4 sectional final win.
Lake Forest's Caroline Knop scored the game-tying goal with 1:52 reamining in the third period and added the game-winning goal in overtime to help Lake Forest to a 3-2 victory over Loyola on Tuesday in a Blackhawk Cup semifinal.
Loyola’s Egan Berne and Carly Callans were both regular starters by the end of this season for the Ramblers, who finished 21-9 and ended the year with a 42-33 loss to New Trier in a Class 4A regional final.
